Hi, I’m Latanya Farrar, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Douglasville, GA.
My heart’s work is helping individuals survive difficult situations and find their way forward.

I utilize a number of different approaches that always considers a holistic view of your mind, body and soul. My priority is to ensure that you feel safe and heard from the very first session. I draw from my training, experience and education as well as my passion for continual learning to provide the best therapeutic experience.

I’m here to tell you that there is hope! It will take time and some work but it is possible to move forward and I’m here to help you.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

I obtained both my Masters of Social Work and my Bachelor of Social Work from Georgia State University. I’ve worked in a variety of counseling settings but for the last 18 years I’ve worked with the school system as a School Social Worker.

I hold certifications in both grief and clinical trauma treatment.

EMDR trained therapist.
